Glass Book • Updated
- Monday, May 26, 2008 • For those of you who still
would like to purchase a signed copy do not hesitate to contact me. I have several still available. Collector Books, of Paducah, Kentucky, who published the book, continues to feature the book as well. The
link will take you directly to the page that features the book. The site has a "Peek Inside" feature wherein you can peruse 10 pages
of the book prior to purchase. The book continues to be well received with over 1,800 copies sold! of the
3,000 that were printed. Some of the great comments I have received
from some of you are below: "The book
is great. It is well-organized, thorough, and very comprehensive. You are a great author." "As a historical reference, as a pattern guide and
price guide, and as the flagship reference book on Lancaster Glass, it is invaluable." "It is One of the Best Books on glass I have ever seen.
Laid out so well and described so well, it makes it so so much easier for a person like me, who doesn't know that much on
glass!!! The colors and Pictures are awesome, the years, the history.......Just an AWESOME Book!!!" "Your newly released book on Lancaster Glass is absolutely
outstanding." "I just received your new book Lancaster Glass and I love
it. Thank you so much for putting out a book on this glass." For those of you who still want to hear my Sunday, October 7, 2007 interview with
Harry Rinker on his nationally syndicated radio show, WHATCHA GOT?, I have put the link here for your convenience
- Link to Interview
File with Harry Rinker. Once you are at the site, copy (or download) the
following file to your Desktop - HR_hr2_10-07_07.mp3. I attempted to download the
file onto the site but since it was one hour long there wasn't sufficient space. The "hr2" stands for
Hour 2 and the "10-07_07" stands for October 7th, 2007. Let me know if you need help. Once copied, and
provided you have speakers, double click the link and listen in. My interview is about 30 minutes into the show. If you have any comments or questions do e-mail me at Lancaster
Book with your comments, thoughts, or concerns.

Lancaster Glass Greeting Cards • Updated - Monday, May 26, 2008 • For those of you who have been waiting for the launch of the Lancaster Glass greeting cards,
the anticipation is over. I am officially launching the Lancaster Glass Greeting Card line on June 1st. I am limiting the line to 500 sets of six due to the
intensity of the hand stamping, embossing, punching, cutting, and mounting to each card. There are six images of the three-footed crimped bowl in the following lines: Each of the
images was hand sketched from an actual photo of the bowl that I took and was crafted into a rubber stamp. The
cards are being sold in a set of six, one each of the above named cards. Each card is numbered and signed and comes individual
in a cellophane bag to preserve them. Also, each card features the name and catalog number of the bowl as well. The cards are Neenah® Classic Linen Cover in Avon Brilliant
White. Neenah® is the premier American paper company. Please visit their site by clicking on the link for
details. The photos on the site certainly do not do the linen finish justice. The
center of the panels (cards) are recessed/indented and each panel comes with a matching linen envelope. The cards
measures 6¼" h. x 9¼" w. The
center colored panel of the cards upon which the image is stamped is a metalic finish cardstock that I found after many hours
of searching and experimentation. I attempted many types of media: markers, watercolor pencils, paint, and chalks, none
of which worked so when I found this metallic cardstock in the complimentary colors of the bowls that I attempted with
paints, I was elated. These cards are beautiful and are
suitable for framing in a group or individually. Buy them as unique greeting or Thank You cards or give
them as gifts to your avid Depression glass collector friends. Again, the photos do not do them justice.
I will be selling them in a set of six for $24.00
+ First Class shipping, which is about $2.25, depending upon your Zip code. If you wish to preorder them
through my site please visit Please visit Subscribe tab where I've
included a place to select "pre-order cards." Also, be sure to visit the Greeting
Cards tab to see all six.
