Above is the stunning Sunshine collection of Lyn Laethem of Folsom, CA. Lyn sent me a picture of her collection at my request since she has three pieces that were not featured in my book. They are indicated with yellow numbers. The bowl in the lower right-hand corner, marked #1, is the #731/6 pink satinized mayonnaise bowl. The #2 piece is the #731/7 pink satinized cupped muffin tray. The #3 piece is the #731/6 pink clear oval bowl. Lyn's collection is likely equal to mine given her three pieces that I don't have and the three pieces or so I have that she doesn't.

Above is a fantastic pink, #1831/5, gold trimmed rose bowl with the Garden Trellis etch. This bowl comes from the collection of Tim Charlebois of Fenwick, Ontario, Canada. Difficult to find not only the etch but also with the painted gold trim, this piece I would consider rare. Garden Trellis, officially introduced in January of 1930, is one of the easily identified Lancaster cuts due to the preserved catalog pages featured in my book. Garden Trellis was also etched on soft green blanks as well as pink. There supposedly is a long line of pieces with this cut, however, I have not encountered them in my searches. Should you find any other pieces be sure to let me know.

Wow! A red Line No. 502 tumbler. Didn't know they existed but upon second examination it definitely is Line No. 502 featured on pages 53 - 57 in my book. This tumbler and five others like it are part of the collection of Susan Bargar of Delaware, Ohio. I haven't seen any other red pieces out there so if you do encounter them, please let me know. Lancaster did overlay a gold, green and red coloration as with No. 411 Crown, however, according to Susan these are red through and through. It is unknown at this time but the Line No. 502 molds could have been lent or sold to other companies wherein the red is more indicative of their particular coloring.
